අ නාථ නාථ, a. protecting or aiding the helpless, &c., පිහිට නැත්තාට පිහිටවූ.

අ ප්‍රති ෂර්‍ඪත, a. unfixed, නොපිහිටි, unsteady, අස්ථිර, unsettled, undecided, නියමනැති.

අ මුක්තය, n. non-missile, viz. hand-weapon, knife, වීසිනොකරන ආයුධය, පිහිය.

අට පිරිකර, n. pl. the eight accoutrements or articles required by a B. P., viz. bowl, under-garment, single robe, double robe, girdle, knife or razor, needle and water-strainer: පාත්‍රය, අඳනය, තනිපටසිවුර, දෙපටසිවුර, පටිය, පිහිය, ඉඳිකටුව, පෙරහන්කඩ.

අතාධාර, a. (අන් ආධාර), unsupported; helpless, destitute; ආධාරනැති, පිහිටනැති.

අධඃ ස්ථ, a. the under, යටවූ; bot. inferior, පා තින් පිහිටි.

අධිෂ්ඨිත, a. fixed, පිහිටි, appointed, determined, නියමවූ; resolved, intent, ස්ථිර අදහස් ඇති.

අන්තර ස්ථ a. situated within, ඇතුළේ පිහිටි, internal, immanent, ඇතුළත්.

අනාථ නාථයා, n. protector of the destitute, &c., පිහිට නැත්තාට පිහිට වෙන්නා.

අනු ග්‍රහකරනවා, v. to favour, befriend, benefit, bless, පිහිටවෙනවා, ආශිර්‍වාදකරනවා.

අනු ග්‍රහය, n. favour, පිහිට, kindness, කරුණාව, aid, උපකාරය; grace, benediction, ආශිර්‍වාදය.

අනු බලය, n. support, aid, පිහිටාධාරය, reinforcement, අමුතු බලයක් දීම.

අව ලම්බනයකරනවා, v. i. to hang down, be suspended, එල්ලෙනවා; depend upon, පිහිටනවා.

අව ස්ථාපනය, n. fixing, fixation, පිහිටුවීම.

අව ස්ථාපිත, a. fixed, based, rooted, පිහිටුවන ලද.
