උපායොදනවා, v. to devise means, scheme, plot, contrive.

පරි·කල්පනයකරනවා, v. t. to contrive, invent, යොදනවා.

යෙදූ,යොදාපු, v. adj. pret. of යොදනවා: designed, contrived, formed.

යෙදෙනවා, v. t. of යොදනවා: to become formed, form; comport with, befit; to be engaged in, occupied with. It is also a verb aux. with other verbs in the infinitive, as ඕහු ලියුම ලියන්ට යෙදුණ, It occurred that he wrote the letter or he did write the letter; sp. used to unite a number of coordinate verbs, as ඔහු මේක කරන්ටත් ලියුම ලියන්ටත් යෙදුණ, he both did this and wrote the letter; pret. යෙදුණ; u. n. යෙදීම.

යොදනවා, v. t. (fr. යුජ් to unite), to put-together, combine, construct, form, frame, fabricate; contrive, design, plan; pret. යෙදුවා: v. n. යෙදීම.

යොදනවා, v. c. to cause to construct, get constructed; cause to contrive &c.; cause to engage in; pret. යෙදෙවුවා; v. n. යෙදවීම.

සකස්කරනවා, v. t. to put in good order or condition, arrange, prepare, mend, පිළිවෙළට යොදනවා, හරිගස්සනවා &c.
