අත් පසුර, n. tendril, clasper of a creeper.

අප වර්‍ග, n. (අප priv., වර්‍ග class, being), cessation of re-birth, final emancipation, ap. of Nirvāna, නිවන.

ඉස් තරම්, a. head or highest class or degree, best.

උඩත් පිරිස, n. the upper class or classes of society, උසස් සෙනඟ.

උඩත් පිරිසෙය්න්, ad. of the upper class; at the most or highest, වැඩිවශ‍යෙන්.

උප පංක්තිය, n. sub-class.

ඌරව්‍යයා, ඌර ජයා, n. one sprung from the thigh (of Brahma), one of the third class, viz. a Vaishya, වෛශ්‍යයා.

කුඩුපය, n. clasp, ගාංචුව.

ගණ පංක්තිය, n. (ගණ B. P.), college or class of B. pupils.

ගණය, n. a number, multitude, troop, සමුහය; class, series, වර්‍ගය, පංක්තිය.

ගණේශ, n. (ගණ companies or classes, ඊශ Lord), the god of wisdom, son of Siva and පාර්‍වතී. His image in H. temples is that of a short, fat man with an elephant's head. He is appealed to and worshipped as the remover of obstacles in all undertakings and compositions. He is chief of the various classes of subordinate deities who are Siva's attendants.

ගර්‍ජනාව, n. noise, roar, thunder, ඝෝෂාව, noise of a clash or battle, යුඬඝෝෂාව.

ගාංඩුව, n. Port., buckle, clasp.

ඝට්‍ටනය, n. striking, colliding, clash, වැදීම, යැපීම.

ඝට්‍ටනයවෙනවා, v. i. to strike against, clash, වදිනවා, හැපෙනවා.
