අ මාංස ධර්‍ම මතිකයා, n. one who holds the doctrine of non-flesh diet, vegetarian.

අ මාංස ධර්‍ම, අ මාංස භක්ෂක ධර්‍ම, a. vegetarian (doctrine).

අ මාංස භක්ෂණ ධර්‍මය, n. doctrine or principle of vegetarianism.

අ සද්ධර්‍මය, n. (අසත් untrue), untrue doctrine, heterodoxy, මිථ්‍යාධර්‍මය; evil practice. අයහ පත් කල්ක්‍රියාව; cohabitation, මෛථුනය, සං වාසය.

අග්‍ර නිරූපණ දෘෂ්ටිය. n. doctrine of predestination, පෙර නියමකෙරීමේ ගුරුකම.

අති පරි ශෝධක ධර්‍මය, n. the doctrine of thorough cleansing, &c., radicalism.

අභි ධර්‍ම පිටකය, n. transcendent-doctrine repository, viz. the third Pitaka. It is divided into seven sections, viz. ධම්මසඬගණී, විභංග, ධාතුකථා, පුග්ගල පඤ්ඤත්ති, කථාවන්ථු, යමක, පට්ඨාන.

අභි ධර්‍මය, n. the transcendent doctrine (delivered by Buddha to the gods), metaphysics; Pitaka of that name.

ඉරණම් ධර්‍මය, n. law or doctrine of fate, fatalism.

උච්ඡේද දෘෂ්ටි, a. pert., to the doctrine of excision or annihilation.

කේවලය, n. single thing; knowledge of the unity of God, unitarian doctrine.

ගුරුකම, n. instruction, lesson, doctrine

ත්‍රි·විද්‍යාව, n. threefold or three kinds of knowledge; ap. of the three principle Vedas: Rig, Yajur and Sāma; in B., knowledge of three important things, viz. අනිත්‍යය, දුඃඛය අනාත්මය: i.e., impermanancy, sorrow (of all existence), and the non-existence of a permanent self. This is one of the chief doctrines of B., and the chief study of all B. ascetics.

ත්‍රි·විධ·ධර්‍මය, n. B., the threefold or three kinds of doctrine, viz. සූත්‍ර, rules for the laity; විනය, discourses to the priests; අභිධර්‍ම, transcendental doctrines.

ත්‍රි·විධ·රත්නය, n. the three gems, viz. Buddha, his doctrines and his priests.
