භේදිත·පුෂ්ප·වෘන්තය, n. pedicel, pedicle, කුඩා නැට්ට.

භාෂාතත්‍වවිජානනය, n. knowledge of linguistics or the science of language.

භූත·ඝනයා, n. lit. as above; also camel, ඔටුවා.

භය, n. fear, fright, terror, dread; flower of the trapa bispinosa, ඉකිලිය. Bet.

භද්‍ර·කල්පය, n. the auspicious කල්පය or period of the world: there are said to be four kalpas, three of which have elapsed; this is the fourth and is called the auspicious kalpa because in it five Buddhas are to appear, four of whom have already appeared, and the fifth, called Maitri Buddha, is yet to come.

භුක්ත, a. (fr. භුජ් to eat, enjoy), eaten, කනලද; that has eaten, කෑවාවූ.

භද්‍රාසනය, n. (භද්‍ර ආසනය), lit. auspicious seat: throne, සිංහාසනය; posture of a devotee in profound meditation, in which he is seated upon his crossed legs.

භූතාලය, n. (·ආලය house, abode), demon-residence, any place supposed to be haunted by a demon or sprite, as a tree, mountain &c.; H. temple, දේවාලය.

භණ්ඩිරි·පිරිත·සාරය, n. xanthine, මණ්ඩාසායම.

භූරි·ශස්, ad. Sans. manifoldly, නොයෙක් ආකාරයෙන්.
