තෙළෙස්, a. thirteen, දහතුන.

තෙළෙස්·ධුතාංග, n. pl. (ධූත subjugating, අංග sections), the thirteen passion-subduing ordinances to he observed by B. P., viz. පංසු කූලිකාංගය, පිණ්ඩපාතිකාංගය, තේචිවරිකාංගය, සපදානචාරිකාංගය, ඒකාසනිකාංගය, පත්තපිණ්ඩි කාංගය, පච්ඡාභත්තිකිංගය, ආරණ්‍යකාංගය, රුක්ඛමූලිකාංගය, අබ්හෝකාසිකාංගය, සෝසනි කාංගය, යථාසන්‍ථතිකංගය, නේසජ්ජිකාංගය For the explanation of these see each one in its alphabetical place.

තෙළෙස්·වක, n. thirteenth day after the new or full moon.

දුවඟ, දුහඟ, n. E. for ධුතාංග: see තෙළෙස් ධූතාංග.

ධුතාංග, n. pl. (·අංග portions or sections), self-denying ordinances: see තෙළෙස් ධූතාංග.

පාංසු·කුලිකාංගහ, n. one of the තෙළෙස්ධූතාංග: dust-heap ordinance of B. P., which requires that his robe shall be made of old cast off cloths. See පාංශුකූලචීවරය.

පිණ්ඩ·පාතිකාංගය, n. B. P. ordinance of mendicancy or begging with the bowl, one of the තෙළෙස්ධූතාංග.

යථා·සන්තනීකාංගය, n. (යථා as, සන්තතික spread, අංගය ordinance), ordinance enjoining upon the B. P. not to shift or alter the mat or bed when spread out to repose on. As it is laid down so it must remain. This is one of the තෙළෙස්ධූතාංග.

ස·පදාන·චාරිකාංගය, n. (ස with, පදාන alms, චාරික itinerant, ආංගය section or ordinance), B. mendicant ordinance, which requires the priests to procure food by asking from house to house, see තෙළෙස් ධූතාංග.

සොසානිකාංගය, n. (අංගය), one of the තෙළෙස් ධූතාංග: the ordinance of the B. P. which enjoins devout meditation in a burial ground at midnight.
