ද්වාපර, ද්වාපර·යුගය, n. (ද්ව, අපර, after), lit. the one which follows the two, viz. the third of the four Yugas or ages of the world, comprising 864,000 years.

යුගය, n. two, couple, කුට්ටම, pair, යුග ලය; yoke, වියගහ; a measure of four cubits; era, age or duration of the world, the four ages are called කෘත or සතය,ත්‍රෙතා,ද්වාපාර, and කලි, which last is the present age: see කෘතයුගය &c.
