උප සංකේෂ්පය, n. epitome, an abstract, සඟරාව.

චිත්‍ත·ස්ථාපනය, n. fixing the mind, mental abstraction, සිත යොමුකෙරීම.

තාව, n. wisdom, prudence, ප්‍රඥාව; suffix තා with ව, as in මහිමතාව &c., used in abstract nouns.

නි·රෝධ·සමාපත්තිය, n. the eighth stage of religious practice for the purpose of attaining Nirvāna. It is a state of abstract religious meditation in which the senses and passions have been subdued and all desire has ceased.

පදන, n. gift, තෑග්ග; temper (of metals &c.), මිශ්‍රගතිය, ලෝහවල ගතිය; meditation or religious abstraction, ධ්‍යානය.

පදන්·ගේ, n. meditation-house, house in which monks practise religious abstraction.

ප්‍රත්‍යාගාරය, n. (ප්‍රති ආ, හාර taking), restraining (the organs of sense), stoicism, mental abstraction; abridging, combining, combination combination (of letters &c.) E. S.

භාව·සමාහිත, a. absorbed in thought, intent upon, abstracted.

යෝගය, n. joining, සන්‍ධිකිරීම; junction, combination, union. සන්‍ධිය, සංයෝගය, එක්වීම; concentration of thought, religions abstrac-‍ tion or meditation, ධ්‍යානය; comnound of medicine as what is prescrihed, ඖෂධයෝගය; fitness, adaptability, යෝග්‍යකම; ast. 27th part of 360° measured on the plane of the ecliptic and used to calculate longitudes of the sun and moon.

යෝගවාන්, a. devoted to abstract meditation, ascetic, ධ්‍යානමාන, තාපස.

සර්‍වඥ·තා·ඥානය, n. (තා abstract aff.), omniscient knowledge, omniscience.
