අට විසි පිරිත්, n. pl. the twenty-eight incantations or recitations of the attributes of twenty-eight Buddhas for protection or escape from demons or disease.

අනු කර්‍ෂණය, අනු කර්‍ෂය, n. drawing, attracting, attraction, ඇදීම, ඇදගැනීම; enticement, allurement, අටිවැඩීම, පෙළඹවීම; drawing or summoning by incantation, මන්ත්‍රයෙන් පැමිණ වීම.

තොට·පියලි, n. pl. shreds orbits of cloth beaten off in washing and which are sometimes used as charms and incantations, also clothes left by the bather after his religious ablutions.

තොවිල්කරනවා, v. to perform devil-ceremonies, use incantations to expel demons, exorcise demons by the use of යන්ත්‍රමන්ත්‍ර &c., and so heal the sick one whose disease is supposed to be occasioned by them.
