ඇත් වරණයා, n. the leading or chief elephant.

නයනය, n. eye, ඇස; leading, guiding, මග පෙන්වීම.

වි·නය, n. (වි emp., නය proper, leading), propriety of conduct, as modesty, mildness, decorum, reverence, obeisance, submissiveness, submission, religious obedience, sp. fulfilment of the duties of the priesthood; discipline; sorcery; book so named, being one of the ත්‍රිපිටක. E. S.

සකෘදාගාමි·මාර්‍ගය, n. the path or way so called, leading to the above stage.

සතර·ඵල, n. the fourfold fruit or enjoyment of the four paths leading to Nirvāna, viz. සෝවාන්, සකෘදාගාමි, අනාගාමි and අර්‍හත්.

සෝවාන්, සෝවාන්මාර්‍ගය, n. the first of the four paths or stages leading to Nirvāna, attained by religious meditations and ascetic duties.
