කම් නැති, a. useless, needless, groundless.

ගෙතුම්·කටුව, n. knitting needle.

භෝජ·පත්‍ර, a tree the bark of which peels off like that of birch, Adam's-needle, Yucca gloriosa (Lili.).

මල, n. hole, perforation, හිල, eye of a needle, ඉදිකටු සිදුර.

මහන්නී, n. fem. needle-woman, seamstress.
