අ බල, a. powerless, strengthless, feeble, දුර්‍වල: old, මහලු; pithiess, vain (talk), අසාර.

අ බලකරනවා, v. t. to render powerless &c., disable, unnerve, බල නැතිකරනවා, දුබල කර නවා.

අ බලතාව, n. powerlessness &c., දු ර්‍වලකම, දුබල කම.

අ බලවෙනවා, v. i. to become powerless, &c., දුර්‍වල වෙනවා.

අ වික්‍රම, a. non-heroic, powerless, weak, වික්‍රම නැති, බලනැති.

අ වික්‍රමතාව, n. powerlessness, feebleness &c., බලනැතිකම &c.

අ සංඛ්‍යය, n. lit. the innumerable but used of a definite number, about a vigintillion or the twentieth power of a million.

අ සකි, a. powerless, unable, බැරි.

අන්‍ය ගුණ ජනකතාව, n. power of producing a different condition, tithonicity.

අනු භාවය, n. power, influence, efficacy, inspiration, ආනුභාවය, අනුහස.

අබ්භූත ධම්ම, n. (අප් or අබ් priv., භූත existing, ධම්ම P. of ධර්‍ම), non-existent law or event, unprecedented occurrence, wonder, miracle, අද්භූතය, විස්මයක; B. a work on the miraculous powers of the disciples of Buddha.

අභි ඥාත, a. ascertained, known, දැන‍‍‍ගනතිබෙව, දන්නාලද, අභිඥානය, අභිඥාව n profound or sp. or extraordinary knowledge, cognition, recognition, විශේෂ දැනගැන්ම or දැනීම; five supernatural acquirements of Rahats, viz. power to assume any form, to hear the feeblest sounds and see objects at any distance, to know the disposition and thoughts of others, to know the condition of any person in former existences.
