අර්‍ධ කාචකා, අර්‍ධ කාචකාකාර, a. semivitreous, somewhat glass-like, මඳක් වීදුරු ආකාර.

ඒ, n. The twelfth letter of the alphabet. Its sound is that of the preceding vowel lengthened: as a in Fade, but somewhat broader, the initial sound of it being maintained throughout, without changing into i as the English sound does: consequently in English words it would seem somewhat inelegant. Its non-initial form is the same as the preceding, but lengthened by the addition of /?/ or ි to the consonant, as කේ ké (cay), මේ mé (may).

කොතන නුමුත්, ad. wherever; somewhere or other.

කොයිබවත්, ad. somewhere; with neg. nowhere; කොහේවත්.

කොහේවත්, ad. anywhere, somewhere.

තුලිකාවා, n. a small bird somewhat like the wagtail.

පහේ, suf. somewhat, about (of degree), as සුළු පහේ කෙනෙක්, person of low degree. (පාහේ).

මණ්ඩංවූ, a. tipsy, somewhat drunk, fuddled.

මණ්ඩංවෙනවා, v. i. to become somewhat drunk.

මන්දෝත්මන්ත, a. (මන්‍ද උත්:), somewhat insane, crack-brained, මදක් උන්මාද.

මන්‍ද·කෝණකාර, a. somewhat angular, subangular.

මන්‍ද·ගෝලාකාර, a. somewhat globular, subglobular, මඳක් වටකුරු.

යන්තම්, යම්තම්, n. some degree, somewhat, a very little, ඩිංගිත්තක්; as adv. very bightly, ස්වල්පවශයෙන්; scarcely, barely, narrowly, hardly, only just: as යන්තම් ගැළ වුණ, only just escaped.
