අත්‍යලංකාර, a. (අති අලංකාර), extremely beautiful, superb, splendid, ඉතා ලක්ෂණ.

ආදිත්‍ය වර්‍ණ, a. of sun-colour: refulgent, resplendent tike the sun, ඉර මෙන් දීප්තිමත්.

ඉසුරු කල්, ඉසුරු සඳ, n. lit. splendid moon: ap. of Durgā: see උමයංගනාව.

ඉසුරුමත්, a. sumptuous, affluent, splendid, magnificent, ඓශ්චර්‍ය්‍යමත්.

උඡ්ඡමල, උඡ්ඡවලිත, a. bright, radiant, effulgent, refulgent, resplendent, දීප්තිමත්; seraphic, fired with zeal: see ඡ්වලිත.

උර චක්‍ර මාලාව, n. (උර shoulder or neck), infernal circular neck-garland (splendid in appearance, but cutting the wearer in hell to pieces by its revolution).

ඔරැඳි, a. splendid, brilliant, තේජවන්ත.

ඕජෝවර්‍ධනයකරනවා, v. (ඕජො‍් fr. ඕජස්), to increase power or splendour, බලය or තේජස වැඩිකරනවා.

කාරවි කාක්කා, n. common grey crow, corone splendens.

ඡටාව, n. light, splendourදිප්තිය; assemblage, quantity,එකතුවූ ගණනක්; straight line, සෘජු ඉරක්.

ජයශ්‍රිය, ජයශ්‍රීයාව, n. splendour of victory, victory.

ඣිල්ලිකාව, n. splendour, brilliance, ආලෝකය, දීප්තිය; cricket; its cry, රැහැයියාගේ හඬ; towel or rubbing cloth, තුවාය; rag, wick, රෙදිකඩය.

තේ·කිසිනු, n. (glorious asceticism), Buddha's power, acquired by the severest religious austerities, of diffusing a fiery splendour from his body sufficient to illumine the region around him for many miles; ascetic observance or attainment so called, viz, fixing the mind exclusively upon the element of fire. තේජනය, n. act of making splendid or illuminating, දීප්තිමත්කෙරීම; polishing, sharpening මුවහත්කෙරීම; bow, දුන්න; arrow, ඊය.

තේජය, n. splendour, effulgence, magnificence, තේජස; fire, heat, pungency.
