නි·රෝධ·සමාපත්තිය, n. the eighth stage of religious practice for the purpose of attaining Nirvāna. It is a state of abstract religious meditation in which the senses and passions have been subdued and all desire has ceased.

නිරූප, a. incorporeal, immaterial, අශාරිරික; shapeless, ugly, අවලක්‍ෂණ.

නෘ·සිංහයා, n. human lion, viz. a chief or eminent man; the fourth incarnation (අවතාරය) of Vishnu as a man with the head and claws of a lion.

නියෝගකරනවා, v. t. to appoint, command, ordain, decree.

නැකැත්·තරුව, n. planet, ග්‍රහතාරකාව.

නිමෙනවා, v. i. to become finished, completed; also for නිවෙනවා, to be extinguished; pret. නිමුණා, v. n. නිමීම.

නවාංග·ශාසනය, n. the nine-section system or system of nine sections, viz. සුත්ත, ගෙය්‍ය, වෙය්‍යාකරණ, ගාථා, උදාන, ඉතිවුත්තක, ජාතක, අබ්භූතධම්ම and වෙදල්ල.

නිලකාර·ප්‍රවේණි·ක්‍රමය, n. feudalism. E. S.

නව·ගුණ·මන්ත්‍රය, n. repeating as a charm the above nine qualities, the ninefold or nine-attribute incantation.

නුවටයා, n. religious devotee or mendicant, ascetic, hermit, තාපසයා.
