යාමලය, n. a couple, pair, කුට්ටම,යුවළ.

යටත්කම, n. humbleness &c., humility, condescension.

යටි·හුළඟට, ad. to windward.

යෝගය, n. joining, සන්‍ධිකිරීම; junction, combination, union. සන්‍ධිය, සංයෝගය, එක්වීම; concentration of thought, religions abstrac-‍ tion or meditation, ධ්‍යානය; comnound of medicine as what is prescrihed, ඖෂධයෝගය; fitness, adaptability, යෝග්‍යකම; ast. 27th part of 360° measured on the plane of the ecliptic and used to calculate longitudes of the sun and moon.

යටත්·පහත්වෙනවා, v. i. to condescend; humble one's self, cringe.

යතහොත්, conj. (යත as, because, හොත් if), often preceded by මක්නිසාද &c. it equals කිව හොත් or කිවුවොත්, lit. If one said why: viz. for this cause, for this reason.

යුගාන්ත·මාරුතය, or ·වාතය, n. age-terminal wind, viz. hurricane by which the Universe is destroyed at the end of a Yuga or age, යුග අන්තයේ මාරුතය.
